In 1966, the Cooperative Girona Fruits was launched. It started its activity with a preservation and packaging centre in the municipality of Bordils (Catalonia). From that year on, the investments to increase the capacity, preservation and final quality of the fruits have been steady. They are specialists in apples, commercialising varieties such as Royal Gala, Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Fuji and Golden.
